Your Consignment Partner Pty Ltd (ABN 91 695 526 142) handles personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect and why we collect it.
Consigning a collection means trusting someone with valuable property and with your bank details. We would rather over-explain what happens to your information than leave you guessing.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to do the job. It falls into three groups.
When you send an enquiry
Through the contact form on this website: your name, email address, the subject and message you write, and any files you choose to attach — usually photographs of cards. Attachments are optional; the form works without them.
When you consign items with us
Through our consignment agreement form: your name and contact details, the details of the items you are consigning, your nominated bank account details so we can pay you, and your signature. We also keep records of the consignment itself — what was submitted, how it was graded, what it sold for and what was paid to you.
When you simply browse this website
This website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count how many people visit and which pages they read. It is designed to be privacy-first: it sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not follow you across other websites. We see totals, never individuals — and because nothing is stored on your device, this site needs no cookie banner.
Our web host keeps standard server logs, which typically include IP addresses and the pages requested. We do not use those logs to identify individual visitors.
Staying anonymous
You are welcome to ask a general question — about rates, grading or how the process works — without telling us who you are, by messaging us on Instagram or by giving only a first name and a reply address. We can only stop being able to help if the question is about a specific consignment, because we then need to know whose it is.
Why we collect it
- To answer your enquiry. Nothing more.
- To run a consignment — arranging insured transport, grading or authentication, listing at auction, and paying you the proceeds.
- To meet our record-keeping obligations.
- To improve the service, in aggregate, without identifying individuals.
We do not sell personal information. We do not add you to a mailing list because you sent an enquiry.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access or disclosure.
Bank details are never collected by this website. They are collected only through the consignment agreement form, which runs on JotForm’s own platform — the website you are reading has no database and no way to store them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and change the date at the top.
